Knowing's half the battle

Well, today we went to the doctor for our 18 week ultrasound and anatomy scan and also found out the gender of our third baby.  We decided to tell the children the news over ice cream because we knew one of them was going to need to drown their sorrows in a sea of cool creamy sweet dairy goodness.  Here's how it went down:

After telling the kids the gender, I sat down with Caroline to show her some of the pictures we got today.  This is the picture I was showing her when we were filming this next video.
I pretty much show that I have the same sense of humor as a fifth grade boy in this video:

And last of all, I just have to show this last picture... I'm pretty sure he looks just like me.
That's my profile right there!  Welcome baby Henry, we are so excited to meet you.

Well, I'm glad the doctor was able to find his pe-nus. We can't wait to meet you, Baby Henry. I love you already!

AHHH! NICE! I was WRONG AGAIN!

I laughed so hard I cried when Jamie and Caroline were on a pecker hunt - so I have the sense of humor of a 5th grade schoolboy as well.

Caroline, from experience, I can tell you that having two little brothers is actually a pretty good deal... that said, I'd continue to get as much ice cream out of the deal as you possibly can. Anytime moping = ice cream it is worth milking for all it's worth.

AND - I love the name - Henry was our boy name choice for Abby and Hayley too!

Congrats Johnsons! And thanks for the quick report - I was thinking about you all day!

Had me in tears!!! I can't stop giggling even as I type this. The fact that it was his arm just shows how big Caroline's expectations are for her littlest bro.

Both videos are awesome and I just could not be more excited to welcome little Henry. He has already won my heart. I'm smitten.

I meant to say: Daniel must be so proud that Caroline has "arms length" expections of the men in your family...
