Well, summer is here and that means hanging out with my friend Elena. Thanks to her mom and her new camera, we actually have some pictures to post for the month of July.
We love lounging poolside on a hot day.
Hey, the water suddenly seems a bit warmer... not it!
Well it wasn't me!
You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose.
That's what mom tells me, but it's fun trying.
Neither of us are camera shy.
Elena doesn't mind putting up with my "hands on" friendship.
Giddyup! He's a little slower than a mule, but smells marginally better.
My favorite pastime... pointing and saying "Look!"
I have no desire to walk by myself. Someone pick me up!
My monster face... Aunt Beth taught me this one.
I know this is for walking, but I use it for my squats.
Heck, I'll try anything once.
Mom and dad took lots of video during the last few months. Here are some of our favorite clips. I know it's long but the ending's worth it.

Hey Caroline -
Boy are you looking good these days! I have the same Gymboree strawberry hat that you do! I love the picture of you walking with your mom - you ladies were smart to color coordinate your outfits. I am REALLY impressed by all your tricks... you are such a beautiful BIG girl! Your friend Elena is pretty stinkin' cute too - you make a good pair of bathing beauties. For a minute there I thought that the video "How to chase the camera" was going to turn into "How to accidently pull down Mommy's skirt". You had such a good grasp on it - glad to see there are no such videos at this stage.
Well Abby, I know those legs are pretty sexy, but they're my dad's! If he hadn't been wearing that belt I would have pulled those suckers down for sure!
Well, Brie, it's official... You need to start shaving your legs more often! hahah... love you guys!
AHH! Seriously?! I didn't even LOOK at leg hair... I just thought it looked like a skirt. I'm going to claim to have been looking at the princess not the parent... (or you could delete my comment and let me try again before everyone sees it and I have to be (more) embarrassed. :-) I don't know who gets to be more offended - Daniel or Brie... I'm just going to be glad I'm cute, 8 months old, and mostly that I live many states away.
Hey, it's not your fault baby Abby. Daddy was definitely using his high pitched baby talk voice. Anyone could have made the same mistake
