Well, I've been accused of being a slacker on my blog lately and I'm afraid it's all true. I've been spending so much time practicing my new words and sounds that I haven't had a spare moment to blog. I've also been working on standing up all by myself. I have to admit, it isn't easy. Luckily, my mom and dad put me in some really fluffy cloth diapers to pad my many falls.
My friend Laurence brought me this neat cup all the way from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Yeah, I'm cultured now.
My Granna brought me this dress with all the accessories. I thanked her with a photo shoot.
I attacked the camera...
and made some darling poses.
Playing dress-up makes me smile.
My most exciting news is that I now have enough hair for a bow.
Having a hair bow makes one feel quite prissy. You must tilt your head back and giggle the entire time it's on your head.
Not by the drool on my chinny chin chin!
Mama and Dad tried several times to introduce me to the pool. I resisted the first several times, but today I finally agreed to give it a shot.
I hope my dad will teach me how to tan only the lower half of my arm just like he does.
Aunt Leesee sent me this swimsuit. It was a hit at the pool.
Daddy hung up my new swing on the porch. I love swinging, it's just about my favorite thing in the world.

pup looks so pretty in her bow- she reminds me of her handsome Unckie Cam in these. I love you, pretty girl!

So cute. Love the bow. every time I see the first bow picture I think "what a perfect oral posture for a /ch/ sound". She's so advanced.
One more thing...she looks more like Mommy in these pictures. Daddy still has undeniable genetic influence, but I really see Mommy in the pictures with the hat (and others).
Woo hoo! I love it when someone sees Mommy in that baby. We'll cancel the maternity test.
Caroline - I don't mean to be picky here... and we've both witnessed how my smack talk gets me in serious trouble... but I just want to point out one small flaw in your reasoning: I think that the reason you feel the need to tilt your head back when you wear a bow is not to be a prissy princess... but really because you don't actually have any hair holding your bow in place so you must contort yourself in order to try to fake everyone out. I'm not fooled. I think hats are more your accessory of choice at this point in time. Hugs and Kisses though - I still have nothing but love for you!
PS - My daddy tans the lower half of his arms too... and the back of his neck. He usually keeps his ankles and feet nice and white too. He says spending lots of time on the golf course is the way to do it.
Ouch Abby, that one hit below the diaper! Luckily you're so dang cute you can get away with it.
