Video Updates

Here are a few video updates:

Caroline and James having a giggle fest over their ball and ramp toy.  They decided to get creative and use a lemon from Caroline's kitchen.

James made a sound that sounded like "Tar" and Caroline appropriately responded with "Heels." I ran for the camera and had them recreate the moment. I couldn't be more proud!

Aunt Leesee is celebrating her "first annual 29th birthday" today!  Happy Birthday Aunt Leesee!
Caroline turned my greeting into a reading lesson but we decided not to edit it out since I perfectly pronounce Leesee's name in the middle of it.  Also, Caroline demonstrates how Aunt Leesee eats her snacks.  Caroline picked up this skill when she was only 17 months old when they visited Leesee in Miami and she still eats her snacks this way every time.

After a great trip to Granna's house I really wasn't ready to come home.  I figured this was the only way to convince my parents to pack up the car and drive there again.

Monkey Cam celebrated his 11th birthday not too long ago and we sent our usual birthday greeting.

Beach Babies

Before reading our latest blog take a look to your left.  There is a button that says "Follow by email."  Many people have asked me how they can get an email each time we update the blog and here is how you can do it! Type in your email address and click submit and you will get an email.  Once you get the email be sure to confirm by clicking the link.  Then presto! you'll be emailed whenever we update... maybe you'll be the first to see the cutest pictures and videos or here the latest news.  If I were you I'd brag about being the first in the comments section.

We took a trip to the beach to visit Granna and Grandad.  Monkey Cam, Aunt Muihrienne, Uncle Graham and Susi live there too.  Aunt Leesee and Uncle Porter flew in to see us and Aunt Ceilidh, Cousin Lachlan, Aunt Beth, Grammy and Grandad drove down to join us.  It was a wonderful week full of family and fun.

The first morning I woke up and went outside I saw a giant caterpillar in the potted plant on the step.  He's my friend.

Truer words were never printed on a T-Shirt.
Born to be a Tar Heel
Father's Day- What a lucky guy.

A walk on the beach

Dad Time

Here James, you need this sand on your foot.

I don't mind... YAY sand!

Monkey Cam and I enjoy building a sand tower... not a sand castle- I'll correct you if you try to call it that.

Oh, yeah, and my brother went on this trip too... I know there are some pictures of him here somewhere.
Here's one

Mom and Dad love taking pictures of us hanging out together.
Tickle Tickle

We call this wrestling

Can someone help me figure out if those are Jamie's legs or Caroline's?  I mean, the position they're in should be James, but they're so long and lean... is my little boy just growing up and I'm in denial?  Your thoughts?

Love this one

Granna always brings over our favorite toy.

Uncle Graham brought over our other favorite toy.

See?  I knew there were some other pictures of me!
We call this the "malevolent sprite" look.  You know she's up to no good... but super cute at the same time.

Aggressive hugging.

Otherwise known as "tough love."

Family picture time

Crazy hair family picture time

Keep smiling... maybe the wind will stop blowing

We couldn't get a good posed picture so we figured we'd go for a silly one.

I helped Granna make special D.C. cupcakes for Aunt Muihrienne who moved there two days after we left.

Uncle Graham taught me how to show off my muscles and my new catch phase, "COOL!"

We threw a shower for Aunt Leesee to celebrate Baby Olive who's coming in November.  Aunt Leesee said I was invited and I wanted to go, but Mom said I wouldn't be any fun since I it was during nap time.

Lachlan was invited.  He's always the life of the party.  He showed us some "sexy poses" he's been perfecting lately.

Aunt Beth gave us some bathtub finger paints which we loved.  We got home from the beach and took a nice bath to wash off all of the lotion and sand.  What a great idea Aunt Beth!

I love to paint in the bath!
