Emily threw a surprise party for mommy in honor of my new brother. This is her very confused/surprised face. She was clueless. We had a lot of fun keeping all the secrets from her.
Everyone dressed in blue or pink, depending on whether they thought Mommy is having a boy or a girl. Elena is happy to guess "boy."

Daddy and Mommy went to a crew reunion in Chapel Hill. Mommy found out that long car rides give her lots of contractions. Daddy found out that Mommy gets really grumpy when she's having contractions in confined spaces.

Poor Nama was in charge of putting me to bed while my parents were on their date. I made her hold me for over four hours but I finally went to sleep on her shoulder. I promise to behave when she comes to help with the new baby.
