I think I love you!

Disclaimer: In case you're just joining us, we do not know if the baby is going to be a boy or a girl. I call the baby "brother" just because it's easier and sounds nicer than calling it "it," please don't get too excited when you see the word "brother" all over this post.

Well folks, we're well into the third trimester so it's time to start the guessing. You can vote for the gender on the left of the page, but in order to be considered for the grand prize of "braggin' rights" you must submit all of the following information: gender, date, time, length and weight. Leave your guesses in the comments section (or email my parents if you want to keep your guess a secret). My dad will make a handy spreadsheet like he did before I was born and we'll post it on the left of the screen. Here is some information you may want to know before you go ahead and do your guessing:
  • The Chinese zodiac calendar says girl (of course it said I would be a boy so take that with a grain of salt).
  • The famous Johnson pencil test says boy (it also said I would be a boy... go figure).
  • Mom's morning sickness was bad, but not as bad as when she had me.
  • Mom has been craving sweets (what else is new?).
  • The heart rate was 141 at our last check up.
  • The baby moves, kicks, jumps, and rolls WAY more than I did (according to mom).
  • As far as due dates go, it's a little complicated. The calendar says mom is due on April 8th. The first ultrasound said April 13th (the doctors are going with this one), another ultrasound said April 3rd.
You should also know that there are some very special days around the due date and my "brother" may decide to appear just to make those days even more special. March 3rd is Aunt Muihri's birthday, and March 31st is Grampa Johnson's birthday. Of course April 1st is lots of fun! April 4th is Easter Sunday. April 5th is dad's un-birthday (which he makes us celebrate). April 8th is Great Grammy Leggat's birthday and also Great Grandpa Art's birthday. April 10th is mom and dad's 6th anniversary. April 28th is Uncle Graham's birthday, but seriously... how mean would you have to be to guess the baby would be more than two weeks overdue?

Here are some pictures of mom just in case you are one of those people who can tell what gender the baby is by the way they are carried.

And what would a blog post be without its star? Here are a few pictures of me I thought you would all enjoy.

Hey, do you like seafood?

SEE FOOD! Get it? I crack myself up.

Aunt Muihrienne came for a visit. We went to the library and had boogie woogie story time. She's a big fan.

Great Grandma Bon, or GiGi Bon, knitted me this dress. When I wore it I got lots of complements and people said, someone must really love you a lot. It's true. She does love me a lot.

This is the first real snow we got this year. It's hard enough walking and then you have to go add this stuff?

Seriously, I don't know why my parents think it's so funny for me to be crying in the snow.

Snow makes things way too bright outside.

This year I decided to keep it green and do an online Valentine. I had so many pictures and ideas I thought I would post them all.

Hey Valentine, you're better than a bad comb-over any day.

Will you be my Valentine or do you need a minute to "mullet" over?

Someone is going to have to help me think of a pun for this one. All I can think of is Ed Grimley.

I don't have a pun for this one either, but I thought you'd like to see my kissy face.

Valentine, you're just tutu cute.

Ready or not, here I come Valentine!

I'm just WILD about you, Valentine.

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!
