Father's Day Special

My dad is the greatest!  Here are a few pictures of our times we've shared.  I know some of these are repeats... sorry for the clip show.

Here we are checking each other out the morning after I was born.

One of our favorite things to do is take a nap together.

He thinks I'm pretty great.  Opening and closing my mouth makes his day!

Another one of our special naps.  Dad has taught me how great it can be to nap in the car on a sunny day... well ventilated of course.

Dad loves to test mom's nerves.

He thinks all of my many fluids are very funny.

He loves to help out.

My dad really enjoys the fact that we look just alike.

We share some of the same hobbies and interests.

Daddy never forgets to hand out kisses.

He loves to show me new places.

A true man's man... he's not afraid to wear his baby.

He taught me how to dance at the ripe old age of 5 months.

Daddy loves to make me laugh.

He can always make me smile for the camera.

You're never to young to learn how to climb a tree... at least, that's what he told mom.

He gave me these blue eyes.  And apparently, my hair line.

Here are just a few video clips of some of our best times.  You can see that my daddy is always on a quest to make me smile and laugh.

Happy Father's Day Everyone!

Blog Slacker

Well, I've been accused of being a slacker on my blog lately and I'm afraid it's all true.  I've been spending so much time practicing my new words and sounds that I haven't had a spare moment to blog.  I've also been working on standing up all by myself.  I have to admit, it isn't easy.  Luckily, my mom and dad put me in some really fluffy cloth diapers to pad my many falls.

My friend Laurence brought me this neat cup all the way from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.  Yeah, I'm cultured now.

My Granna brought me this dress with all the accessories.  I thanked her with a photo shoot.

I attacked the camera...

and made some darling poses.

Playing dress-up makes me smile.

My most exciting news is that I now have enough hair for a bow.

Having a hair bow makes one feel quite prissy.  You must tilt your head back and giggle the entire time it's on your head.

Not by the drool on my chinny chin chin!

Mama and Dad tried several times to introduce me to the pool.  I resisted the first several times, but today I finally agreed to give it a shot.

I hope my dad will teach me how to tan only the lower half of my arm just like he does.

Aunt Leesee sent me this swimsuit.  It was a hit at the pool.

Daddy hung up my new swing on the porch.  I love swinging, it's just about my favorite thing in the world.
