The Many Sleeping Positions of Miss Caroline Grace

For all of you who have heard my mom complaining that I don't sleep; here is proof positive that I do, in fact, sleep.  Sometimes.  I love to sleep in many positions throughout the day.  Here are a few of my favorite poses.

Even at one day old I knew it would be nice to take a nap with Daddy.

This is mom's favorite picture of me.

When I sleep they like to take lots of pictures.

I used to like curling up into a ball.

Man, I have some big feet!

My hands are always near my face.

I can be reverent.

I'm showing off my length in this one.  Mom and dad have no idea where I got my tall genes.  Maybe Uncle Graham.

Dad and I love to nap in the car and get a little sun tan.

Aunt Leesee and I used to nap on the couch.  I hope she comes to visit again soon.  It just isn't the same seeing her over iChat.

This is some deep sleep.

Here I'm posing for my senior portrait.

Now I like to twist around in my sleep.

You know you make me want to SHOUT.

"One million dollars."

Here I am being reverent again.  I'm such a good little girl.

Remember Glow Worms?

This is how I practice my Elvis lip.

I like this one because You can get a hug and a nap at the same time.

Hmmmm... I'm probably thinking of something very clever to write on my blog.

Democracy is hard work.

Pulling my lip down like this improves my pout.

Woe is me.

Contrary to popular belief, this isn't hard on my spine.  It's really very comfy.

Check out my new video:

October 30th was my three month birthday.  Mom read in one of her books that this means I am no longer a newborn.  She got a little teary-eyed about that, but I don't see what the big deal about being a newborn is anyway.  I mean, I sleep less, cry less, spit up less and poop more.  I like being a big girl.  I can laugh now and copy the silly faces that mom and dad make.  I love the itsy bitsy spider even though no one will believe mom and dad that I can really do the hand motions.  But you can take my word for it, I can do the spider like nobody's business.

I am a very good girl.

Daddy tells the best jokes.  Or maybe I'm just good at laughing at everyone else's jokes just like mom.

Oh please, don't take my picture... I'm so camera shy.

This is my coy face.

Mom and I went to the 7th annual pumpkin carving party.  Look at my cute little Boo Bottom.  Parties wear me out!

This is me with my new friend Abigail.  She's a skunk and I'm a hotdog.  Where do they come up with this stuff?

Mom, Dad and I went as ketchup, mustard and a hotdog.  Mom loves costumes.  I wasn't such a fan...

... so I drooled all over her costume!

At least it was warm.

We threw a shower for my new friend Elena.  She's coming in December and I can't wait.

Dad took care of me during the shower.  I was surprisingly well-behaved.

Mom and I love to coordinate.

Another one of Mom's quilts.
